THEME & SCOPE

Software measurement and metrics are key technologies for managing and controlling software development projects. Measurement is essential for any engineering activity and for increasing scientific and technical knowledge regarding both the practice of software development and empirical research in software technology. This conference will facilitate the exchange of software measurement experiences between theory and practice.

PAPER SUBMISSIONS

Authors should send proposed short papers (2 to 4 pages) by e-mail no later than June 30, 2010 to

metrikonpapers(a)dasma.org (open from 1 April 2010) 

Contributions from industrial practice or practice-focused research are welcome. Papers should not have already been published elsewhere, nor should they have been submitted to a journal or to another conference. The program committee decides on paper acceptance according to a defined review procedure. 

At least one among the authors of each accepted paper should register for the conference and ensure paper presentation. 

The final papers have to be based on the MetriKon template and must adhere to the IWSM/MetriKon 2010 guidelines for authors (as provided at www.metrikon.de).

The conference languages will be English and German. German papers will be presented in a separate track. 

TUTORIAL AND WORKSHOP SUBMISSIONS

Proposals for mini-tutorials or workshops to be held in a seperate track during the conference should be submitted until August 2, 2010. 

EXHIBITION

Applications for an exhibition booth should be submitted until August 2, 2010. The exhibition will be offered in parallel to the conference and should relate to the conference topics. For further information please contact the DASMA office.

 Notification of acceptance: August 02, 2010
 Final paper deadline: September 20, 2010
 Conference date: November 10-12, 2010
